Welcome to the Mathematics Championship Indonesia 2024 (Grade 8) 

Smart Kids Indonesia proudly presents the Mathematics Championship Indonesia 2024! This is a mathematics competition for Grade 8 students across Indonesia. Now is your chance to showcase your math skills and logical thinking nationally and earn prestigious awards! Join thousands of participants and prove that you are Indonesia’s math champion!

In this competition, 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 4th place, 5th place, and 6th place will be chosen and will receive exclusive awards.

Registration Fee

  • Rp 100,000 per participant
  • Prize redemption fee: packaging Rp 15,000 and shipping costs for prizes will be charged after the winner’s announcement.

      • Closing: 16:05 – 16:15
  • Number of Questions per Level:

    1. Grade 8:
      • 20 questions
      • Duration: 30 minutes.

Course requirements

To participate in the Mathematics Championship Indonesia 2024, organized by Smart Kids Indonesia, participants must meet the following requirements:

1. Eligibility

  • Age and Education Level:
    • Junior High School: Grade 8 
  • Location: Participants must be students enrolled in schools across Indonesia.

2. Registration

  • Participants must register online through the official website by filling in their accurate personal details.
  • The registration fee of Rp 100,000 per participant must be paid in full to confirm participation.
  • Registration is open until 29 November 2024.

3. Technology Requirements

To ensure a smooth competition experience, participants must have access to the following:

  • Device: A laptop, desktop computer, or tablet. Smartphones can be used, but it is recommended to use a device with a larger screen for better clarity.
  • Internet Connection: To prevent disconnection during the competition, a stable internet connection with a minimum speed of 5 Mbps is required.
  • Browser: The latest version of Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge.

4. Academic Preparation

  • The competition will cover various mathematical topics:
    • Junior High School: Grade 8

5. Time Management

  • Participants must manage their time during the competition effectively and complete all questions within the given time limit.
  • The competition platform will automatically submit answers when the time expires.

6. Rules of Conduct

  • Honesty: Participants must complete the competition independently without external help or collaboration with others.
  • No Cheating: Any cheating or unfair practices will result in disqualification.
  • Single Attempt: Each participant is allowed only one attempt. No retakes or second chances will be provided.

7. Parent/Guardian Support

  • Parents or guardians of grade 8 participants are prohibited from helping answer questions.

8. Acceptance of Terms

By participating, all participants and their guardians agree to abide by the competition rules and accept the decisions of the organizing committee as final.
