🌟 About the Competition

The Mandarin Proficiency Championship Indonesia is a national-level Mandarin competition designed to evaluate participants’ abilities through challenges inspired by the HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi) proficiency levels.
All questions follow difficulty levels aligned with each respective HSK level.

This event is open to children, teenagers, and adults — including students, university students, employees, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in testing their Mandarin skills.

🖥 Competition Format

  • Conducted online via Zoom and Google Form

  • Stable internet is required

  • Monitoring is done via Zoom

  • The question link will be sent through Zoom chat

  • Multiple-choice questions only

  • One email address may be used for only one participant


🔧 Technical Guidelines

Before Competition

  • Device: Laptop/PC with camera

  • Internet: Stable connection required

  • Dress Code: Neat and formal; school uniform is recommended

  • Practice Set: Automatically available in the participant’s account 24 hours after payment until H-1

During Competition

  • Participants receive the question link via Zoom chat

  • The Zoom link will be available in the participant’s account

  • The time limit follows each HSK level

  • Tiebreaker: Fastest completion time

  • Committee decisions are final

Honesty System

  • Strictly no collaboration

  • Answers can only be submitted once

  • Any cheating attempt results in disqualification


📘 Online Practice Questions

  • 1 practice set is available after payment until one day before the competition

  • Practice questions are disabled on competition day


🏅 Winner Determination Regulations

1. Minimum Passing Score

  • Levels 1 & 2: 120 points out of 200

  • Levels 3–6: 180 points out of 300

Only participants who achieve minimum passing scores are eligible for Gold/Silver/Bronze nomination.

2. Ranking Process

  • Highest score

  • If tied → fastest time

3. Maximum Award Quotas

  • Gold: Top 10%

  • Silver: Next 15%

  • Bronze: Next 25%

Categories may have fewer winners if fewer participants pass.

4. Additional Rules

  • Gold/Silver/Bronze winners cannot receive High Distinction or Distinction awards

  • Committee decisions are final


🏅 High Distinction Award

Participants receive this award if they:

  • Achieve a perfect score

  • Are not Gold/Silver/Bronze winners

  • Follow all procedures

  • Submit answers only once

Unlimited recipients; no quota.


🏅 Distinction Award

Participants receive this award if they:

  • Meet the minimum passing score, but do not reach the perfect score

  • Are not Gold/Silver/Bronze/High Distinction winners

Unlimited recipients.
Only the first submitted answers are counted.


🏅 Youngest Achiever Award

Awarded to:

  • The youngest Gold/Silver/Bronze winner at each level

  • Only 1 winner per level

Verification via KIA or Passport is required.


🏅 Best Institution Award

Awarded to institutions with the highest total number of Gold/Silver/Bronze winners.

Criteria:

  • Must be a school or learning center

  • Data & document submission must be complete and compliant

  • Group registration required

If tied, the institution with the most Gold Awards wins.


🏅 Highest Average Score Award

Given to institutions with:

  • At least 10 participants in that HSK level

  • Highest average score calculation:
    Total Score ÷ Total Participants

If tied → Institution with more perfect scores wins.

If no institution meets the 10-participant minimum → no award is given for that level.

No extra time is provided; ensure a stable connection.

Are the questions equivalent to actual HSK levels?

Yes, all questions follow HSK difficulty levels.
